Senior Event Sales Manager – London

We need an experienced Event Sales Manager, not a people manager a Sales Manager. Love numbers, love people and love sales, you are who we want!

We’re looking for someone with instinctive sales skills to join our client’s impressive campaign to become the number one event management solution provider in the world. With 2,400 staff operating in over 70 countries worldwide, our client has already established long term relationships with household name companies and large multinationals, but still believes there’s room to grow.

As a natural salesperson with the ability to cold call, set up face-to-face meetings and manage accounts once you’ve got them, you’ll be responsible for driving this profitable company to ever greater heights and leading other senior sales team members to the forefront.

Your success will be measured by your ability to grow enterprise sales of our industry-leading events management software already in use by 40,000 events producers. You’ll be selling event solutions and event technology, but you’ll also require business development and account management skills to be able to build ongoing relationships, too.

We’re looking for someone with 5 years B2B sales experience and a proven ability to exceed sales targets. Once you’ve sold our software solutions, our brilliant event delivery team will handle that side of the business. You’ll bring face-to-face interpersonal skills and a continuing ability to build rapport with our clients.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience of selling events and or events technology around the UK and Europe and excellent leadership and management qualities. You’ll need to live and breathe the language of business and understand the requirements of events producers and events management technology.

We are looking for a very talented, experienced senior new business candidate with experience in events sales to lead a brand new corporate department within this highly reputable live events management and communications agency.

You will need to be client focused, high articulate in both your written and verbal communications, presentable and love the thrill of managing the entire sales cycle to  positive results.

Drawing all on the in house services, from event logistics, to registration, copy writing, creative and delivery you will be selling the client services to leading high profile corporate companies.

Bid Response Manager – London/Surrey (Public Sector)

Bid Response Manager / Tender Producer up to £45k

Are you a wizard with words? Do you understand the language of business? Are you a great leader?

More importantly, can you speak it? If drafting tender documents is second nature to you, we’ve got a fantastic new role that will reward your natural skills.

Our client is a leading events communications agency bidding on a mixture of public and private sector accounts across a range of industries. As a Senior Copywriter (ideally with agency or public sector experience) you’ll need to be able to interpret briefs and write in such a way as to satisfy the concerns of business and government agencies alike.
Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate with government departments, writing directly to ministers, or drafting briefing documents on government policy. This is a Bid Response Manager role requiring a real combination of talent and people management experience. You’ll need to be able to think for yourself, identify client brief,  documents and manage motivate, coach, train and lead the Bid Response team (copywriters and venue costing specialist). You’ll need to undertake your own research, read and interpret relevant past copy, source images and format documents, as well as working with a CRM database to extract statistical information.
Naturally, you’ll be an educated graduate with a love of fine detail and an excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You’ll be able to work independently and efficiently to tight deadlines. Most importantly of all, you’ll need to be able to write great business literature. Any experience you have working with public sector clients is a huge bonus and ideally you’ll be passionate about the public sector or demonstrate a relevant  interest.

As a senior events producer, you’ll be expected to manage budgets, prepare profit and loss statements, handle clients and develop communications strategy as well as being able to efficiently allocate teams and associated resources to individual projects, leading from the front as both coach and mentor. But if you’re really going to succeed in this role, you’re going to need top notch production skills and a proven track record to match.

Live Events

You’ll already have extensive experience in a similar role, producing live events for a wide variety of demanding clients, including video production work. You’ll be a creative inspiration to both your team and your clients, as well as being fluent in the language of business and readily able to interpret your clients’ wishes and requirements.
